I saw a thread where someone had done that and used a cavalier rack, it's the best (simplest) I've seen but I can't find it now.
Just lowered mine used a Creative standard width adjustable front beam it's better than standard hieght ride, I try and put up some before and after pics
Mines an Astra rack. It works perfectly well it's just a bit convoluted. It'd be fine on yours as its LHD.
