only thing i can think is 'cos they were so blooming expensive in rhd these westys, @Moons has a malaga i think he did tell me there weren't many - i'm sure the continental was more common?
I think by independently putting it in here it is a thinly veiled sales ploy as Its appeared in the for sale section!
It's a one year only conversion...or put it this way the only ones I've seen are on an N plate. There are around 10 I've seen on eBay and at shows over the years..am pretty sure they were all white originally with orange interior, deluxe trim kit. There's been 4 on here since I've been here.
74/5 one year only production. Could be ordered later if asked. So73/2. Same year as the one year only Dusseldorf so73/1 and the Offenbach so73/5.
So73/1/2/3/4/5/6/7 _were made 1974/5 and the so73/7 -11 were made 75 -79 and included the Oxford conversion RHD
it is mint ,although the canvass has seen better days... Maybe if you get the 18k you can buy a better camera than the pound shop one...
I think they are all variations on the so73. Which is the rear hinged roof as opposed to the so72 which is the front hinged. There are variations of the roof in there too. Just to confuse things. To simplify. Westfalia offered a range of interiors and 4 roof options in total on bays. Tintop. So36 turret top. Front hinged until July 73 and rear hinged from then on. The mix of roof and interiors was basically what the number after the stroke denoted.
Yep. That was an SoSo though. A special order special order. I think you had to order that through a main dealer and wait as opposed to most of the above being production models.
