it doesn't - but to be an "official tlb" event i believe they hold public liability insurance from what i recall pete telling me once?
do what we do at techenders, publicise it on tlb but not as a tlb event and they can't do anything.

 

As someone who does i would say not a 100%, i invite friends who are not necessarily members here, i declined the chance for it to be an official event as i wanted that freedom

 

Your field was brilliant Keith and in a lovely place, lots who said they were going dropped out of that one as well, it's always the same but location is key, lots of camps on here are not accessible to the majority so the same faces end up going to the same camps with the same people

 

in fairness you have plenty of time, you'll not get much interest this time of year.
what happened to the southern lots winter camp this year? they usually go mad for publicising it - oh yeah they never come on no more.

Yeah, the public liability is an issue, not really sure where i stand, i dont charge and if you up and die you would be dragged to the road and dressed as a tramp (if needed )

 

OK...I vote Malc should be the "unofficial" official secretary for organizing "non" TLB events for TLBers...

I don't see that it matters who organizes any event tbh. I think there may be an issue with insurance if it is called a TLB camp @hailfrank ? It would be good to get some more people together next year.

 

Steam rallys would be good for the tlb collective to camp at as generally they welcome anything vintage and quirky and they dont rip off the punters
