Lol. I think I am keeping the zig and fridge but that's probably all that will survive. How much do interiors go for? Any ideas appreciated.
I have a Super Viking and have fitted a 3 point belts to the forward facing seat and the two rear facing seats and have a lap belt on the seat in front of the cooker.
The interior is out now and getting in my way in the garage and I am fitting a full width R&R with a weekend style kitchen unit. I think this will suit us better - just in the process of discussing fitting of seatbelt mounting points. Did you weld yours in yourself?
This is the interior that i got with my twin slider project! You'll be glad to know it will be back in use pretty soon, love the Viking interior but I've got the same seatbelt problem to overcome...I've got two kids that need belting up.
essentially, you're looking at a Eurovette layout....you could keep everything as is, but remove the buddy seat behind the passenger bulkhead, and replace with a swing-out cooker, and fit a 3/4 Rn'R bed in place of the rear seating arrangement you have now. 1: Buddy Seat/Storage or Cool box 2: Extended seat (cushion is the backrest of the Buddy Seat) 3: Swingout Cooker/Gas storage 4:Table (on sliding rail) 5: Sink/storage unit with Fridge below
Good practical solution that doesnt involve trashing the entire interior. In fact its not a difficult one to do really and im not sure you lose much space.
After taking out my interior last year... I was hoping to refit what would be seats 1 and 3 in the above diagram... However does anyone have the measurement/locations of the holes I need to drill in the floor to get the runners for the box seats to line up with the Ines in the cargo floor? I can't get a drill in from below as I still have the bellypans on..... Help?
think it'd be a bit hit or miss tbh....I'll have a look online and see if anything crops up. @paradox may be able to help here as I think the flooring has yet to be done (I may be wrong though)
Dunno... Not thought that far ahead... I figure I can prob get a spanner to the back... Just not a drill....am only putting one seat back in, behind driver not bothering with behind passenger as need space for all the girls crap!
Tricky job to get them firmly fixed in I guess. Ideally bolted through with big old washers or a plate at the back but with belly pans?
