    your adventures begin again

Hunslet's were a Leeds based company, made both steam and diesels, some mining (narrow gauge) engines, some mainline

Not certain mate. It was on rails. if you ignore the cogs in front and look at the wheels, you can see what I am getting at.

They are all at clearwell caves and mine workings. They have evenings where you can ride on them.

The info is on their website apparently.

  16. It all looks great - makes me even more sorry we couldn't make it. :( Branko spent most of Saturday hacking like a 40-a-day smoker, although that has calmed down now. It was all a bit dramatic - he wasn't even allowed in the vets, he had to be examined in the back of the car in the vets car park!

Looks like you have the ideal vehicle for camping through the winter too.

I loved Symonds Yat when we went and I bet the woods were brilliant in the mist. Me and Jan will have to come up your way for an autumnal weekend, you could be our 'Oop North' guides.

I was amazed at the waves and smiles she got. Most t4 owners waved like mad and the big motorhome over 50 lot were very enthusiastic about her. She did look big in the trees, but people stopped and chatted when we were parked up. Most knew what she was, which surprised us!
