I have never met any of you before, how will I know where you are? Will there be a flag? Is there a central camping phone number I should contact to talk me in the last few hundred yards? I'm not normally a worrier...
Assuming you have gone for club camping, there will be an area set aside for The Late Bay, marked out into pitches. Last year we were on quite high ground. It's pretty well organised when you arrive
Bet I can't find it! @MorkC68 I'm setting off from Newark at 4.00pm heading towards A38. What time are you setting off?
Space is running low in the Family Camping area at Camper Jam on July 4th-6th! http://www.camperjam.com/tickets If you'd like to camp in this area, order your tickets now to avoid disappointment!
We can convoy down with you Jono, it'll be about 5pm when you get to Kirkby. You do realise that you have to cross J28 M1 and its chaos Friday teatime (the past three months have seen the northbound M1 stationary)
It appears that way but it's really chaotic. I just know that I want to get there asap and my eldest has to get back from school first. Other than that I can't remember what I'm doing on a day to day basis. Adventure before dementia.
Yeah, got caught up at that junction last year. The only other way is down the A52 but getting past Clifton and the M1 there is even worse.
Nahh!! If you head to Kirkby in Ashfield, meet us then we can get on the M1 J27 down to the A50, cut across the south of Derby to the A38 down to Camperjam
Sounds good. By the way, did I see on a post that you have a Bush Pig BBQ? If so, what do you think of them?
