so i quite like the rem song shiny happy people and then randomly i find them doing the worst out of tune flat as a witches tit version.....
Anything by Queen, I used to love Queen but then I went to a Queen Convention, can't even bear to listen to them now.
Have you been to I will rock you then? If it wasn't for the fact I'd paid so much and was on a promise I'd have left at the interval. Still can't beat a bit of queen, love to blast it out
Anything by Bob Dylan when he has one of his "I don't want to be here shows". It's pot luck with him you can either get a brilliant concert or absolute & total rubbish if he's not happy.
I went to see erasure as a kid with patents at nec was so hot I stripped to my vest and pants Now I'm like wrong time and place I was very young
Or when I seen I tyred to sing my fave classic on karioke in Tenerife Jared and they played it on DVD next night not so Jared ... Ruined it
Its a shame when the great get old and can't do it anymore(McCartney for one), someone should tell them.
I saw bob Dylan a couple of years ago at hop farm. It was like they went out into the street and picked a random wineo with laryngitis and got him to sing some Dylan numbers shocking. Was glad to see him in someways, as he's a living legend in my eyes, but he needs to stop.
Red Hot Chilli Peppers, saw them some years ago at Manchester,James Brown Supported and this dreadfull band called something like Chicks on Acid, they had a lap top, didn't have guitar but thought she had, they didn't go down well at all. Red Hot Chilli Peppers came on played 2 songs, told everybody they had narrow minds and continued to play. no interaction with the crowd, they were crap. I paid 3 quid and seen better pub bands, no respect for em what so ever. .....best thing was few weeks later Flea was on Tv flagging off boy bands. pot kettle black
This: Is supposed to be this: It seems to be a young female singer thing - where they basically make wilf whewwf mwfff wefff waffff noises instead of actual words - and usually it's 80's songs slowed down then mispronounced.
I didn't find that too bad, ok she was a bit flat, but Stipe was pretty much there or thereabouts....it's a rough n ready live performance I guess, maybe I need a new ear trumpet, but from your opener Rick I thought it was going to be truly awful
