I used to oversee the planning supplying and fitting of windows to buildings like this. Now I drive trucks - I know which one I prefer these days.
Was that techie PT2? did that building have parents at all do you know/did you even care ?>bit more info re "oversee" ,generic term (imo) like you could perhaps be sat at gate signing for the delivery?as we all embellish our job title/description , you could now refer to yourself as a "road warrior ,tarmac terrorist, big wheeler, king of the road...."<see?
I know nothing about that building Steve, soz, just a picture of the curtain walling type jobs I used to do in another life. I like being a lorry driver - It's kinda free!
Or @poptop2 could just call himself "forgetful old codger". Have you ever forgotten where you parked the truck before Malc love??
I used to do stuff like this: and this Till injury forced a desk job upon me I know which job I preferred. Still go my old Huskie 262 XP though if I ever fancy making some noise
I got a job fixing these but I wasnt very good so they told me I had to fix these But I wasnt happy with that so i got another job developing these and these and strangely these That went TU and I got a job building and reapairing these i gave that up as the money wasnt there and made these for a while that wasnt exactly my calling so I got a job fixing these Then doing this which I did for quite a while until I got a job telling other people to do. And the last 20 odd years have been a blur!
I trained as a mecanic for two years, became a forklift driver at a agricultral outlet for 8 months, then 16 months dole, then 14 years as a cleaner in a book binding factory, then worked in the local park for a year, then did scaffolding for 8 months, then a builders labourer for 6 months then went self employed as a gardener 9 years ago...its all been rather fun so far...
apprenticeship wiring these and these Then went on to building these and working on these then maintenance hear then stuck behind a desk as a facility s manager now
Forgot one of the agency jobs was counting bits of airplane for a stock take at Norwich Airport................very small bits ..............maybe thats where my fear of flying came from
Big thank you to all those who do mountain rescue. I need you to follow me down when i ski because I'm pants.
