Steve Weinberg has said: With or without religion, good people can behave well and bad people can do evil; but for good people to do evil—that takes religion
mine was the 1st comment not to beat around the bush, so i'm racist hey? righto in that case i'll be ignoring blokes from yorkshire called para.
There are many terrorists who aren't muslims - in fact a recent study in Europe showed most terrorist acts are by the left wing and nationalists. Although I don't recall what methodology it used and it didn't count terrorist attacks which were prevented and neither did it grade the attacks - so 7/7 and the Madrid bombs were given equal weight with somebody throwing a bottle at a government office (probably)
Agreed, but having seen the footage, the perp looks less like an arab than I do - the actual word Ricky is looking for is...
I don't want to defend the "raghead" comment but there are black arabs - many Sudanese, for example - arab isn't a race, it is pan-ethnic and more to do with cultural and linguistic ties.
forget it, i didn't realise i was at school and other people decided things i said was racist - let me tell you this para if i was racist i'd have put the N word got it? now do one or pick on the people who actually put LIKE under what i wrote.
just heard the audio on CNN - the guy with the knives has a thicker london accent than me -hes no recent somali immigrant
I remember the book burning. The walking on egg shells really gets my goat. getting offended at anything and everything and screaming righteous indignation has become such an industry almost. The british establishments apologetic stance to the "offended" few at the time of the Rushdie business was shameful, and has just helped to stoke that particular fire ever since.
To me the bigger issue here is not which religion, race, colour or ethnicity these two cowards relate to but why somebody with a broad south london accent does not feel "British". We need to look at ourselves and our multicultural experiment to find out the reasons behind this lack of pride in our country then find who is preaching unrest within our communities and expel them from our shores, while educating "British" values on their communities (not imposing). A lot of these extremists appear to be 2nd and 3rd generation immigrants who originally came to this country for a better standard of life not to convert our country into exactly what they left behind.
Believe they were wounded! Coup de grace would have been appropriate. Couldnt give a Marmite what religion they were or ethnicity. Scum who want an axe to grind will find one. Indeed someone will provide one and support them. Just as guilty and same methododology should be employed to put them out of their sad little existance.
Sorry Dicky but Bootsam has just pointed out to me that if we did that we're denying them the protection of our laws and it's not being nice or fair to them. Plus it would turn them into Australians and that's annoying to Terrordales
Those who preach hate from any standpoint have no place in a civilised society other than to be mocked by right thinking people. Unfortunately there are those that listen and also those who chose to be disenfranchised. No happy with some of the comments of some above but then again they might not like what I have to say bit its highly unlikely any of us will kill each other over it.
Did he sound imported? He's been here a bloody long time by sounds of it. Whatever his agenda, he learned of it here I suspect. I'd say this has little/nothing to do with terrorism, just plain ol' barbarism that happened to be perpetrated by a couple of black guys who alledge to be followers of Islam.
I think we all know how we feel by now. It is a appalling crime with deeper implications than race religion or colour. Time to agree to disagree me thinks !
im probably right in thinking, that this country is too soft to enforce any sort of punishment to these scum... and there probably living here on benefits..
