Pull off the (red/black?) lead from the ignition switch to the solenoid. Short that tab terminal to the big +12 stud on the back of the starter. The solenoid should go clunk, and the starter shoul turn. Be careful nut to short the stud to the body of the starter.
Is that where i bridge? To the big lump in middle of starter.? From the spade connector in solenoid (taking off red/black ignition cable first)??? Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
And it WILL spark, which if not expected will make you jump, keep hold of the screwdriver so not to injure yourself
You can always tape a long wire to the starter stud and one to the solenoid that are both long enough to allow you to stand out the way and touch them together safely
This is where im unclear, sorry. "pull off the red/black lead from the ignition switch to the solenoid" You mean disconnect the lead from under the dash?
