Bad diet, not enough exercise, I’d given up the smokes about 20 years before. There was a hereditary element too. Just got some tightness in my chest, one thing led to another…. By-pass
If it's "Becker" (my guess based on what little I know of your overall symptom timing and sequence) and if you are the sort to be wanting to "shake the tree" then have a look at these: https://musculardystrophynews.com/news/edg-5506-treatment-shows-promise-becker-md-clinical-trial/ A trial recently started in the States, so there may be something on the pipeline closer to home?: https://www.parentprojectmd.org/edg...ial-of-edg-5506-in-individuals-with-becker-2/ and a US/UK collaboration that offers up a few names of people you could harass if you're disposed to do so. https://www.oxfordharrington.org/the-centre
I think that's an umbrella term ... Whether it covers Becker I'm not sure tbh. It certainly covers a whole group of dystrophies, so if you can get something more specific out of them you'll have more to work with. "Knowledge is power" and all that. Best for tomorrow!
This happened to my friend, but he got bored so asked them to change the channel. Issue was it was the episode of Casualty when Charlie was leaving so everyone stopped what they were doing and watched it, after all Charlie was the backbone of Casualty for years. Not many dry eyes in the theater that night I can tell you.
Best wishes for tomorrow, Rich. I have to wear the stockings for another week but I don’t know what happened to the paper pants – I was wearing hem when I went for the op but not when I came out, I hope they’re not inside.
Let’s hope there not removing them to reissue them Did you have your op in France or the uk? what with all the cutbacks and the nhs struggling I’m worried they may fit a accuspark instead of a 123
Oh, yes, I had to wear the sexy compression stockings for a few weeks afterwards. No seams on them sadly
My op was in France, no waiting and first-class treatment. For my problem the hospital was as good as it gets and they share information with the UK cancer research and treatment specialists.
