Dunno - everything else is gradually falling apart, but my teeth appear to be strangely robust. The toffee pennies are all miiiiine!!
I friggin hate teeth! Went to the dentist last week and I need 2 fillings and then 3 teeth pulled (wisdoms), so that'll be fun.
oooh that's not nice. I managed to get into adulthood with three wisdom teeth, but the one that had to come out was a right little barsteward with a hooked root. I remember my dentist with his foot braced against the arm of the chair, and a massive pair of pliers.... Sorry, probably not helping, am I??!
One thing I wish they'd stop is putting the sweeties in those blasted plastic tubs. Awful things. The old tin boxes were much more re-cyclable.
I managed to avoid fillings until I met the school dentist I’m with Snottski on this one they were money grabbing sadistic weirdos and with no parents present did what they wanted Oh, and then a truck fridge compartment door broke and smashed into me at a gazillion mile an hour and the handle hit my mouth, fortunately I had a better dentist by then £4K and a lot of pain later I still retained most of my teeth.
Usually found in old peoples garages, filled with various size nails/ nuts and bolts, that ‘might get used one day,as they might come in handy’…
Youve been snooping around my garage again haven’t you !!! Plus some rinsed out milk cartons for whatever and loads of old curry dishes and ice cream tubs etc etc Ozziedog,,,,,,There’s always a need for old tubs
I can also remember back in the day when people kept old bits and bobs screws nails etc in old glass jam jars with the lids nailed up to the underside of the shelf then screw the jar back on to it for some creative space making storage. I think most lived a life of destined destruction and few lasted forever. Ozziedog,,,,,,,,spose that makes me offffficialllly old
You dont need an expensive dentist check up to see if you need any teeth treating , just eat a MARS bar , you will instantly know whats needed.
What's this "back in the day " and "usually found in old people's garages " bit, some of us keep stuff for when it comes in handy!
Me too. But I prefer to use, rust free fasteners. You know they haven’t been stretched, etc… I have a few tins of odds and sods.
Can't beat new fasteners, given how cheap they are. I'm Kay's Fasteners best customer. Want to see my drawers. Well, do ya?
Come and sort all mine please they were organised until I dropped the box. Lucky near me we have a great diy place that sell nuts bolts individually
I love Toblerones, my Grandparents used to bring me a big one duty free when they came back from their holidays. I only found out this week that what I thought was just an arty picture of the Matterhorn on the box, has a stonking great bear on it, hiding in plain sight. Google it if you don’t believe me.
