yea, my dad tried to encourage me and my sister to like them when I was about seven. We soon put him straight.

And Celebrations have taken out the Bounty... My tub of preference is Cadbury's Roses which seems as-yet un-meddled with. Though I'm just waiting for the other shoe to fall there.

(Quality Street went out of consideration years ago, since we learned of the evil that Nestle did in developing countries we don't buy any of their products).

 

Quality Street also have those toffees that pull your fillings out

How did you manage not to acquire any fillings? In my day, they used to get drill out at the drop of a hat. I'm sure most were unnecessary.

 

Dentists used to get paid per filling in the olden days.
I think that's why I have more fillings than teeth now!

 

I'm sure that's true. My kids have...none.

 

Has anyone tried to eat a big chunk of Toblerone without doing permanent damage to the roof of their mouth?

 

Mrs M bought me one of these a few years ago - each triangle lasted a few days, and it took us 8 months to eat the whole thing.

 

That’s it,for 4 quid.
