27°C here apparently been stiffling all day.
Just back from walkies and about to crack open a Guinness with a Ratatouille and some sausages for supper.

JCB Fasttrac pulling a trailer full of straw drove off the field down the road from my house and burst into flames. The whole lot's gone up and made a right mess of the road, luckily the lad driving is OK, apparently it was caused by an overheating brake. The road is going to be shut for days. A 15 mile detour to get round it!!

 

Used to work in an office there and enjoyed shopping in a Monday lunch time when no one was around!

Popped in last Friday for the first post pandemic poke around and there are so few shops that cater for your average 40 something with a dad bod now! and also very little that I would say constitutes outlet shopping prices!

Yes, the road's a complete mess and there's nothing left of the Fastrac and trailer except for a pile of twisted metal. My pond is covered in a nasty oily film though.

No, headed home yesterday teatime. I was intending going to the Techenders weekend but MrsP has been working long hours on projects so I thought it best to take her to the coast and beaches for the last weekend of summer instead.

 

Shame. If you were still about i would have met up for beer!!!!

Jesus ...thay go to fast they do ...and they make the most of it ..bet any money he was flooring it and brakes got to hot .
One our way with a trailer load of hardcore probably over loaded ..had to brake hard and shed it's load all over the Ashbourne to Derby A 52
