Went for our first ever cruise on Ventura a couple of years ago, absolutely loved it

 

I watched her sail out last night, then woke up to find this berthed in her place, complete with water flume and Go Ape rope walkways around the funnels.

 

Is it one of those prison ships?

 

It's the nearest I've been to a cruise ship and I actually like the idea of it. Seriously thinking of one of the UK waters cruises they are doing at the moment, will do if they relax the ridiculous Covid insurance requirements they are asking for - £2m liability to include emergency evacuation cover?!

 

Cruise ships always make me think of a Marty Feldeman sketch, where he is the tour guide on a bus sightseeing trip ( speeded up ).
Can't think of anything more unlike a camper holiday... and I don't mean that as a good thing.

 

I'm sure your right, perhaps cruising appeals to people who prefer not to wake up looking and smelling like Worzel Gummidge?

 

It's just the enforced close proximity to so many other people... now if the tv adverts reflected the truth.......
