Finally a member of the club - late bay 79 Devon conversion

Hey there - my van is Lily and she’s a 79 Devon conversion with a slightly newer interior (25yrsmold).

Based in Herts she’s a family van to take us on adventures around the UK!

She’s a pretty solid girl but as with all 40+ yr old vehicles there are some bits to sort out.

It’s been my dream my whole life to have a van, I’m off to a bit of a bumpy start with her going into the garage tomorrow for a new fuel pump, filter and fuel cut off solenoid, the fridge was DOA and apparently now my cooker/burner set up is not up to code.

I’m sure it’s nothing compared to some stories - I’m planning to get as hands on as I can with her maintenance so get ready to be fed up of seeing my name pop up a lot!
