Haha. @davidoft is way on with his. He's shown us it's a bit more than 4 bolts and to be honest I'd be massively daunted by the prospect. However, these boys have the skillzzz to pull it off.
There are expensive differences between the 14 and 16. Not least of which are front drive shafts and outer CV joints. No longer available and when the odd one comes up, ridiculously and I mean ridiculously expensive. Rear trailing arms are longer to accommodate the wheel and suspension travel. As above. 16s look very cool with their arch extensions but they're there to cover the gash hacking of the arches to prevent the wheels rubbing. 14s are just as capable and have at least as good articulation and are slightly less of a bottomless pit. Big starting prices for them, so if he can get the bits...
Out of curiosity, I did a quick web search for the one Matt mentioned in Scotland, thankfully I haven't found it, so I can't be tempted
The fact you searched meant you are Blimey Matt, when’s the conversion to be done by, spose you got plenty of time at the moment.....

Almost affordable too I mean we're not talking like Westy Syncro money. I must resist, must resist, must resist.
I was tempted to buy it, but location and current situation prevented me BUT it also isn't a doka and that's what I wanted when I bought this Sent from my Pixel 4 using Tapatalk
I agree - I’d never be able to do it - I can bolt one bit to another bit and some problem Solving but it is a huge undertaking. Be well worth it- I’m still in love with mine - my work van needs to go to the garage to have some work done but i haven't taken it as I’m enjoying using syncro as work van, taking kids to school (previously!!! Not now in this dystopian Marmitefest we find ourselves in). Look forward to the build thread @pkrboo
