Don't think you'll beat that - Sal is the busiest island I think, so a bit more to see and do. TUI and Thomas Cook have started to establish big all inclusive hotels that most people stay at and most locals work at. And they tolerate cats in restaurants.

i have friends of all ages, some of them are even over 50! but i don't really want to spend a holiday reading menus to them loudly and wiping their dribble
pah! no chance... not sure now if i'm looking for before christmas (parties, cabaret etc to consider) or in the new year. would love to spend christmas day on the beach (a blond sand, sunny beach) but got cabaret on 21st and it's going to be a fab one!
