Hello and welcome from Twickers (I live in Wokingham but spend nearly every weekend in Twickenham with my kids) We are off to Polberro, Cornwall this weekend camping. As others have said, take your time and don’t make her work to hard on the motorways and you’ll be fine.
Hi from Chester ,the A roads are much more interesting than motorways and you get there just as quick due to motorway queuing and lower average speed
"Fusty smell" Do you originate from the south coast? The only people I've ever heard use that term are brightonians.
Check oil. Slight pause in neutral when changing gear. Don't lug the engine. Don't floor the throttle. Sing as you go. Enjoy
Hello and welcome from down south in the New Forest. Did you go to Poole for the pop top catch to Leon at Concept Pop Tops? Good bloke, did my canvas and will get him to do the seat recovering when I can afford it. Enjoy your van and the holiday in Cornwall! .... and get some pictures up, we love to see other peoples vans
he has to go up bodmin moor ,he will be trying the push the throttle through the floor... I know him benny,he was the fastest milkman in the s/w...
Welcome from Kent. We owned our bus for just over a year before deciding to take it on a 1200 mile jaunt around NW Germany and France. Second everyone else who has said get recovery that will take you home - you never know! Enjoy Cornwall and make it a cruise rather than a race against the other weekend travellers Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
We're off to Mousehole just near Penzance, so pretty much as far south west as you can go. Thanks for the invite, if we're anywhere near Exeter I'll come along. Any recommendations on good campsites off the A303 - around Blackdown Hills area?
Welcome to TLB. We are in Merriott just off the A303 near Crewkerne, which is pretty much exactly half way to Cornwall. If you get into difficulties with the Bus, Ben Lewis, of 'Evil Ben's in Chacewater, lives in Penzance, he will see you right. Tony
