Checked lots of connections, tightened a few, fixed a broken connector on the oil light sender so that works now, Took the ign module off and put it back on again to check for white grease as instructed by @davidoft , all good. Put a box of tools in, some gloves and some kitchen roll Drove home without incident so kept driving 50 mins, thrashed it in all gears, lugged it in 4th, went up a big hill fast, switched it off and on again a few times, drove it hard and gently some more, feels great at the mo.
Such is the level of excitement in my life, I'm actually 'watching' this thread Come on @Flakey, when do we get the next instalment??
I'm concentrating on learning about the T1 engine first. In a couple of hundred years I should have mastered it and then I can move onto the type 4
I'm in a quandary here. One side of me is hoping @Flakey finds the problem and fixes it pronto, the other side is trying not to feel smug that mine doesn't have the same problem! #hasprobablytemptedfaterightnowjusttoserveherrightforbeingspiteful! @snotty carpet jealousy is not nice
Pic of yours please, the sides, has Congi's got a big bit of lower stripe missing? Also I've been looking carefully at its "patina" and have concluded it just "rust" I've tcut some of its tears but I fear it will cry again
Symptoms reflect a problem with the giggle pin on the laughing shaft within the chuckle box. Get the techy guy to look at that
