Powder coating lasts and protects, it's a good investment. Get it dulled to 80-90% Matt for the original non Bling look. It's nice to have an engine bay without oil coated peeling paint. Try to aim a bit higher.
The air horns on each side which go to the heater pipes, are they fixed solid or can they be swivelled up/down? Mine are loose and can swivel, seems wrong. Maybe need a wee spot-weld to hold them in place?
No they shouldn't swivel! They shouldn't even if they're loose, they're quite difficult to remove. Is it a proper fan housing?
Yeah it's the right housing, just that I suspect a couple of spot-weld have split so the horn/pipe so it moves. Do a pic of my floppy horn later @snotty
My horn? Waiting for recon unit being ready, maybe a week yet. Also got a long wait for a carb. 5 week lead time for it and the guy not even answered my requests for one yet
