I got my double pole AC breakers from a local electric wholesaler, they will slot right in, if you don't get anywhere with the supplier.
Don't be too despondent @CandyCamper . You'd be amazed at the amount of people who don't get fact there are 2 separate systems, using 2 types of voltage, on leisure vehicles & boats. Even techy peeps!! & I saw that Owen, & that the breaker in CC's box had been superseded with the C60H DC back in 2009! Still DC only though...
Why can't they just send the parts out in a Jiffy bag. You'd have them tomorrow maybe. They only clip into the rail dont they?
Pass - from the email it would appear they don't actually have the correct items....... seems their supplier has made a gaff and it hasn't been picked up......
These also seem to be c curve should they not be "B"? Can someone confirm exactly what I should be specifying ?
If nothing else I can at least say that Rayne are responsive and are at least trying to resolve the issues and are very apologetic.
I love your forgiving optimism! Mrs Monkey would have been having the 'compensation for camping time lost this weekend' discussion with them by now.haha "You will be getting the supplier to next day the correct parts directly to us won't you etc etc" @Dicky & @matty will sort you out where the expert supplier is unable to lol
I have always found I catch more bees with honey than vinegar..... however I have plenty of vinegar in stock should this go south.....
send it back a get one of these http://www.xtremevan.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=5088 or in a kit http://www.xtremevan.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=5013
Thanks Matty, I think we are getting there now, they are sourcing the correct B spec double pole MCB's to send out to me. I would send it back but it's a full bespoke kit with all the DC wiring, battery charger, split charge etc made up to accommodate all of the appliances onboard. Once this issue is resolved it should be a very good kit.
