Kind of wanna spend less than 4K mate and I'm in no rush so when cheap parts come up I need to grab them !!
its the challenge of being able to do car that most would walk away from , i like a man with bouncey balls
I love the challenge of it and at the end when u drive it for years and 1000s of miles like Iv done with Daisy it's priceless
I think we all admire you for taking on the challenge. My only concern was the cost, but you seem to have a realistic budget and hope you manage to stick to it. It will take time and lots of patience.
I did a 69 new floors ,doors , heater channels and a ton of other stuff ....lost my ass when I sold it for less than I originally paid .....it's a bug they ain't worth bay prices ....if it's a keeper then fair enough but I wish I put the effort into something a bit older or rarer like @davidoft s 912
Had a few hours this morning managed to strip most the floor pans , allso cut out and prepped pass side for new one allso had an hour wire brushing the tunnel and started bare metaling a few bits and removing the loads of mud! Because it's outside I rust treated it and gave it a little coat on hammerite to keep it from rusting whilst on the drive That's it for a while now be back at work soon and quite busy but I'm sure I'll manage a hour here and there !!
Never gonna see it it's only brushed on but it's quite nice to look at now to !! Kind of light at the end of the tunnel !! Still ALOT of work !!
have any for sale signs gone up in your street since Christmas?? well done! it's nice to get the rot out.
That's very very broken. You are a mentalist for sure, but your work rate is phenomenal, you do like to get stuck in. hats off to you. I'm looking forward to watching you progress to a completed car.
