  17. its not an original tune but meets the time criteria

Its i memory tuine for me as i played a bigger club than i was used too one night and i played this tune and dropped a pitched up version of nelly the elephant mixed into the end of it

The club owner was trying to physically drag me out of the dj booth because he thought id lost the plot
He only let go when the crowd went mental and loved it

Its nice when you take a massive chance and get a big reward

  19. Thinking back i loved my dj days

I was crap at mixing but wasent scared of the mic when things required it
The one thing i was good at was reading the room and the atmosphere and providing the tunes to suit

My mrs and a few other people have suggested i go back to it as a job

The thing is the last time i played anywhere as a paid dj was 2004 and times have moved on

Nowadays its a laptop full of mp3s and a usb mixing deck for the show of moments

I grew up with vinyl and got loads of stick when i moved over to cds
Yes cds allowed me to carry more tunes in the same space but i was still dragging a big heavy box or four accross a town centre full of drunks

My senses say theres more people having house partys nowadays than going out clubbing or pubbing
