Would Popeye survive the modern world?

    I was just musing this as mooched around Tesco and I thought when have I ever seen spinach in a can?

    Then I googled it.

    You can indeed get Spinach in a can.


    Unsure if it can be consumed through a pipe, or you can open it by squeezing it.....but popeye would indeed survive were he to befriend a person with a can opener.

    Tin Tin was Belgian?

    They can't catch a break can they, the Belgians - apart from Eddy Merckx - the next most famous Belgian I've managed to misidentify his country of origin,

    I've going to call this misgeography.

    Future generations will thank me for this term.
