  1. Any nice thick vinyl will be ok I saw a bay with a flower pattern on it looked really good so you could probably get a nice tiger print :D:D

  4. Made a start on fitting the headlining[​IMG] [​IMG][​IMG]and now leave it a day or two for any wrinkles to fall out :)then glue It in place was doing loads of little bits as well to day so not much to show :rolleyes:

  8. HI m8 cheers for that.... and got the wheels stripped and in primmer will now leave to settle for a while before rub down and re prime and top coat

Had a bad day to day :mad:went to finish the pop top by putting in the spreader seal and bang the aluminium frame snapped :rolleyes::p[​IMG]so really yellow snowed off so that now meant strip it all down again and weld it back together [​IMG]all cleaned then [​IMG]hay presto back together again now need to sand it then start to put the seal back in again :thinking:

    Sorry about the aluminium jobbie but you have got it well under control in all departments from what I can see.

  15. Yep it's a lot cheaper to make your own:)Pop top parts want £65 for them brackets

  16. Absolutely brilliant work, I have only recently found your thread and read it right through. As a 1960's Royal Navy Artificer Apprentice our motto was "Not only with the hands but also the heart" and your skill, dedication and resourcefulness clearly show hands, heart and soul! I see the thread has gone quiet but hope that progress continues and look forward to hearing more.

Well its been a while had problems with my little girl so taken some time out again but bin doing some little bits restored the lifting props for the pop top and made new brackets and started making the interior as well :)[​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]will get some of the van at weekend if not working :(
