With out a care...

I sat in mine and had a brew and a cig today
If it had an engine and mot i would have filled it with logs from the recent fallen trees

 

Did you get the dizzy fitted - has it helped?

 

I'll be using mine when i feel like it over the winter. I'll be away in it over christmas and new year

 

Did you make engine noises ?

I like to sit in mine with a brew as well. It's like a small conservatory.

 

I must admit I don't use mine daily even in the summer, it's always taxed and ready to go but it is in effect my holiday vehicle or standby if the car needs work etc,the winter has nothing to do with if i use it or not - other than the fact i mostly can't be bothered to fetch it from work where it's stored inside.

 

Mine is sorned purely to save money and it also means I can get on with jobs on it as required. (haven't done any yet)

 

I won't be using mine for a few weeks as it has no glass in and, after yesterday, no roof.

 

mine has been every winter so far
once the engine is rebuilt it will be again. otherwise it's just an expensive ornament.
i need it for picking up house bits, can't get much in the beetle

My voice has loads of end float so i didnt want to risk it

 

Used all year round daily driver but this year its inside for first time having its bottom patched up with plaster and some germaline! Poor thing really miss driving in the winter freezing my bearings off!

 

Yep, using mine through the winter - just been under it and picked off any "iffy" patches of waxoil etc and re-done everything - ready for anything now!!

 

Have not done it yet ....it's the next job

 

i took my front buddy box out today and took large portable fridge out n put swing out cooker back in , charged up me battery's n tidied every thang up , it now ready for any weather cups of cofffee etc on the seafront n alike without having to get out or light the cadac . Id forgotten how useful the walk through was , especially when its freezing cold or peeing it darn outside .Now Ready TA RUMBLE

 

After blasting mine with a power jet washer it looks mostly White again
