This man is a legend greeted by him and his lovely wife jen at grill n chill, he showed a bit of his master chef skills on the old dutch oven. He made us all a chocolate and vanilla cake and then roasted a pheasant wiseman style then he sat and played his versions of songs dedicated to several of us and even the flintstones theme tune on the mouth organ Great guy ,great couple, master chef Big KNIFE tooooo

Thanks guys! I had a great weekend. Shame the Masterchef interview didn't come to anything. All I need now is to sharpen the axe and buy a knife which is actually of some use rather than "look at big knife!"
Cheers Para. I knew you were right but was blinded by size and shininess! I have a good quality whetstone already. Could I use that on my axe?
Better off with the axe stone dude as an axe has a curved profile to the edge because its an impact cutting tool Where as a knife has an angled flat cutting edge for slicing
Its still at ideas stage dude and will be for a fair while id imagine as ive got a lot of normal life stuff to sort at the moment

It was a great weekend. BIG axe, BIG knife and BIG fun. Missed the pheasant as was wrecked by Saturday afternoon and the weather was dodgy for Sunday. Hope you all had a good Sunday at the HOP farm. Great to meet everyone who made it there and I think we may even have an earlybay deserter Haha. Just gutted to be back at the grind stone of work today. Hope you all got home safe.
