I’ve used an 18 amp Amperor MV3 with a 110ah leisure battery for the last 3 years or so: http://www.amperorassociates.co.uk/c-battery_chargers/BatteryC-3_18A.html It’s permanently connected whenever the van is not being used during the winter and on site when a hook-up is available. Plug it in and forget it - but don’t expect digital displays or flashing charge indicator lights or LED traffic lights because it just has an on/off switch and a selector to use it as a power supply if there isn’t a leisure battery in the circuit.
