Yes great idea . , also remove the old one and clean out the grease in the casing . Its very old grease and hardenes . You can easily get a few more years out of one . And dont drive in rain. I passed my mot in germany with a very bad wiper motor . What i did was turn the key ion and ran it till it got t the top ,(backstroke) Then when the inpection man turned the key to pull it in . It came down with gravities help of course which he saw and he didnt check it at all ! Took 4 seconds to get to the top. Little old days new yorker mot type of trick i guess.... Fixed it later on Buy the rubber bushings too . ,!
