Why not just buy a new laminated one ?

 

Crow windscreens in grays, about 70 iirc,

I used them as there was no "scene tax" added

 

no such thing as scene tax, old hard to get hold of stuff is proceed accordingly

 

Call it what you want, still £40 more expensive than a windscreen supplier, as they also sell stuff for non vw

 

Yes there is, the whole VW scene is a racket, and has been for decades now. There's plenty of other, none rare stuff, that's readily available, even things like carpets and new interiors that all cost way more for VW buses than similar stuff for other makes.

 

Go look at the Vauxhall scene and Ford scene and vintage watch scene , really old paintings and sculptures scene , plenty of scene tax there too apparently , you wanna see the price of that Mona Lisa painting
