Hi guys I'm after some help/advice. I'm trying to fit the rear side windows on my camper. It seems that the glass I have does not fit? I think that someone has welded pieces in so they could fit louvered window? If you take a look at the pictures you will see what I mean. I'm after some advice help, what would you do? If you was in my shoes? Thanks guys John Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
I would potentially be looking for body cuts/panels to replace/rebuild the apertures - unless you're feeling particularly bold and creative with the welder, that is.
Looks a long way from being ready to put Windows in, also looks like someone's tried to fit kombi recesses in badly so you're trying to fit panel conversion windows into wrong size hole! Better pics of sides without glass please?
The reason I was putting glass in is its on the drive with a cover over it and the cover has got ripped in the wind. Also I wanted to give it a drive round. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
Ok I don't really want to replace the whole panel. (Cost mainly) what do you think about cutting all the welded bits out? If I can get the glass to fit the top bottom and sides I think I can do something with the corners? I also don't want to put the louvers back as they look crap to be fair. Originally being a van the sides were flatfish , you need to weld sheet steel back in and shape he hole to fit glass ...search panel van window images to see what I mean
