Wild camping in Bruges

Not me governor! But, on my days out I have seen a number of campers parked up for the night in town. As per my experience if you are not in the way and not bothering people you are left alone.

I did look at bringing the van to Bruges but the nearest campsite is 5miles outside. Too far for me to cycle even sober!

These are not the handsome scenic enhancing campers we have, so next time I'm bringing mine here

 

I hear there's a good wild camping spot in Calais too.

 

We went to that one at Sangatte a few years back but it was closed for redevelopment or something.

 

There’s plenty of room at the Sangatte site, now that there’s no need for a stopover everyone is going direct to Dover.
