Just keep going Yeap. I had some very low days last year from the endless prep needed to get our van into paint. Start with a small panel to get a feel for it. I did the rear hatch first. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Anywhere. Start in the middle and work out. Do a bit each evening, however small. Top tip is to get it to the point where it's running and you can take it for a short drive. Need not be perfect, but reminds you of why you're doing it. Maybe .
Do a bit each evening as said above. It’s very easy to get in the habit of just looking at it. But actually do something for an hour each evening . Try your hardest to focus on one bit. If you start as said above, on the rear hatch, get that rear hatch as good as you can get it then prime it and get a top coat on it. Fresh work left unpainted will soon sour and start to rust, primer don’t help either as it’s porous, so get some paint ready. If you’ve got your filler as best you can, then just a light coat of primer will highlight any iffy bits. But get some paint on it Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,rust waits for no man and very few campers
I’ve got to get on with mine. Life got in the way, and now it’s in a right state. Welding underneath first, get all the running gear sorted so it drives, not worried about what it looks like. I never go for show win looks, been there, done that. I know it’s not a resto like yours, but it was once...
Also if you haven't already get a resto thread going on here. A bit of encouragement and guidance from others goes a long way, and you'll be able to look back on it and see how far you've come.
