I was speaking to someone at Techenders about the Subarugears conversion but cant for the life of me remember who it was! Maybe @pkrboo?
Someone was telling me they'd heard that they suffer from oil starvation due to the reversed R&P?
    Cheers

  2. You were talkng to me but we only talked about the snazzy box it comes in. Was it @Moons or @baybirmingham maybe?

We didn't talk about that - we talked about the fitting kits subaru gears need to build the gearboxes up - there's a video on youtube about it.

I did however see some info on a sequential gearshift mod for subaru gearboxes.

    Now that would be epic!

We talked about it briefly Saturday afternoon, I think Baybirmingham was chatting too! We chatted about the roof as well & what was being carried out!

I definitely looked at Moons westy, I am suitably impressed by the neat and tidy look of it, it is one thing "seeing" Fellows workmanship at a show, but seeing it in a used bus is another!

There is a video on Youtube of a SubaruGears tintop(?) going like a bat out of hell :d

I've got that; I can't find anything about them suffering oil starvation.

I apparently have petrol in my oil, tho I don't think that counts as starvation? :)

  19. No, but it's still bad. You are effectively de-greasing your bearings as you drive. You need to get that sorted out.

Having looked at the schematic diagram of the gearbox, considering it's not upside down etc, I'm unsure how they might suffer oil simply by being reversed - there doesn't seem to be any sort of oil bar direction.

I know there have been discussions about it with the Audi A4 gearboxes being flipped over and oil starvation.
