Caravelle is now sat on the drive in disgrace. Metal water pipe decided it didn't want to hold water anymore. Exhaust has been slowly getting noisier and noisier the past few weeks but finally blew itself apart at the joint with the flange yesterday while slowing down. Camper now pressed back into daily driver service as dog carrier and general runaround. I was gonna start the rear arch repair on the camper yesterday afternoon but it looks like it'll have to wait a while now.
It has 2 wheels on the step along the side of the house. The drivers side back wheel is on a wheel ramp to level it out. I can now crawl under it its that high. To add insult to injury, just as i was closing the gate the wind caught it and slammed it into the front bumper shattering the plastic corner bit.
Should have done. Motorhome is now missing its exhaust tailpipe too. Would love to know which designer thought fitting a tailpipe using 2 small rivets was a good idea.
