Who insures your van?

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by jannerbay, Aug 6, 2012.

  1. Hi all,
It is that time of year when my insurance is up for renewal, I have been loyal to the same company for the last 4 years, but loyality is not a word insurance companies used and you never get the best deals from staying with them. It appears the deals are all given to new customers. Does anyone out there have a great deal and would like to share the company that insures their van.
I am looking for a company that will give an agreed value, and insure awning also.
    cheers Nigel (jannerbay)

We have both ours through Towergate Classic, agreed valuation with limited mileage and alloys for the westy is £180 per year (two named drivers - one has speeding points) whilst Gusbus is around £140 for the year

  11. Safeguard in Leeds.

They do proper motor-home & caravan insurance with about £5,000 of contents cover.
    Don't do agreed value though.

    Tuesday wildchild I'm a circle!

No idea that's women's work and taxing it. I do the MOT.

  13. Footman James. No problem with my agreed value, breakdown cover included.

  14. I used Adrian Flux (through VW Heritage site),

Was just over £220 fully comp with an agreed value over 10k

I thought it was a good deal and they seem good too :)

  15. Cherished.

They were really good when insuring the Jurgens when importing. Also good when I wanted to add my other bay to the same policy.

  16. Adrian Flux £361.35 with European cover & breakdown, fully comprehensive & £15 extra for £27,000 agreed value insurance. :)

  17.
  18. Sureterm although their premium almost doubled from year 1 to year 2. But I have agreed value sorted out and don't want to go through all that again. will give it another year. How come nobody else uses them...?

  19. I'm with Carole Nash, £195 fully comp with agreed value of 12,000, includes euro use with breakdown including home start. Defo find it worth while checking about each year though for best deals.

  20. I'm with Adrian flux for both my bay and beetle. Beat all over quotes by at least £100.
