Who has made their own wooden units?

  1. Hi

Looking at some of the interiors online they all seem to be made from cheap mdf.
Has anyone made their own interiors?

    How difficult was it?

    Cheers

  2. Me, simple effort really made from birch ply, may have a pic or two somewhere.

  9. I made mine from 12 mm oak faced ply .in curvy bits it pays to make a template from card or paper first .The overhead locker is the most challenging

Only managed the top locker so far.... used 15mm birch ply, and painted it with white basecoat/laqueur and did the inside with danish oil.

Need to get on and make a main unit, got the wood etc, just need the time!
