Mate of mine has just bought a t25. Took the oil cap off and there is white creamy stuff in the cap... Does anybody have any ideas please?
Condensation caused through lack of use and too many short journeys, get the engine warm, give it an oil change and a long run and it will soon look better. Or alternatively tell him to stop creaming over his new bus!
Condensation. Water mixed with oil. Just needs a good run nothing to worry about. Unless its a water cooled? May have a leak.
As above. My new mk2 Golf have me the scares recently. It'd only been used for the smallest of drives and has a thermostat that's stuck open. Cap was full of sticky white love stuff. After a blast up the freeway it had all cleared.
Yup as said its moisture in the engine. I've had it before and after doing longer runs it disappeared. Fine if its air cooled, could be a much bigger problem if water cooled.
Too much excitement by using the van. It gets happy, shoots its load all over the oil cap. Or it's condensation due to under or low use.
And you're sure that was condensation. Reading a lot of this lately, someone the other day couldn't wait to get his van back so he could start banging its lawnmower zorst
Steady love. All that banging!!!! The Mk2 has behaved with typical Mk2 manners. No fluid loses anywhere.
like, you mean the homosexual whale?>rammed a submarine and sucked out all the seamen ? and yes I know that's so very not P.C. apologies to any Whales who may have read this post.
freeway? you're british man! freeway is only acceptable if you're reffering to the dog from "hart to hart" i'm off to fill up with gas.
