Hoping someone can point out which style of fuel tank I have, engine is getting pulled so want to replace all the fuel pipes/hoses behind the firewall and the filler neck, but not quite sure what tank I have, the van is a 73 model but was built in late '72 making it tax exempt but also difficult to pinpoint which tank I have! Can anyone tell from the pics below which tank I have and the correct filler neck, also want to replace the seal at the filler cap (if there is one?). cheers Will

Not really looking at swapping it, not just yet anyway. Going to pull it out and check the condition and then use one of the POR Kits if it needs it, just wanting to know whether the tank I have is early or late. Can you tell from the hose connections? From looking at vw heritage I think I may have the early one without the 90 degree elbow at the cap?
