There's a drain hole in the bottom of the spare wheel well.
Put a grommet in and bobs your uncle.

  3. where can get grommets for that hole? im going to attempt my 240v hook up and need a grommet for it! cheers

    No worries mate

  7. I'd personally keep 240V out of your (damp) engine compartment.

Could find a route through fire wall and past fuel tank I guess?
Don't know if its good to out power that near the tank though.

  10. not putting the charger into engine bay, just running cables back to lb to charge while hooked upto mains when i get the kit to do it. probably covered loads of times but can you make up your own mains kit. socket to trip switches to household plug sockets or do you have to have special gear

I go through the bulkhead by the fuel pipe then under the van to where ever you want it to come up by drilling through the floor when running 12v cables
But i never put 230v in the engine bay.

  17. cheers matty, im not putting any mains into engine bay just the charging leads going back from ctec charger to battery. is it ok to do like that or not...

  18. brucieboy - how's it going mate?

I have a few grommets of differing sizes, so let me know how big your hole is and i'll pop u one in the post mate - they are blanking ones so just need to get the right size grommet to fit your hole then u can cut or drill the hole in the middle your self to suit the size of wire you need (you'll need to text me your address buddy).

  19. hey Ade! hows you? ah thanks very much! yeah I will do! its around 10mm so not very big do you have any of those? You're a star mate :)

  20. I got the one from xtreme van one you sent me a link for, with the surface mounted socket, where do you mount it matty before going through the bulkhead?
