The hub caps they are these. https://www.vwheritage.com/shop/2516011 ... ombi-spec/ BR Thanks. Fernando Palmela fernando.palmela@hotmail.com earlybay 4/1071 11 sedan de luxe 6/1955
Welcome Fernando - I have original ones on mine - at least I think they are - they are a tight fit and need a good pull to get them off - perhaps look for some originals on ebay.
Hi guys thanks for ideias, but i don´t understand why? I bought 4 hub caps new, but................... Silicone???????????? I´ve been told to stick caps and weel and put screw
Sorry that was for the OP, but you should really use a better quality sealant meant for purpose for round the bath
Welcome, Fernando! If you've got an prototype bay, you possibly need metal clips on the wheels to hold the hub caps on.
Thanks guys, but i don´t understand why this´s happening? The model of the mine earlybay is rare? Yesterday replaces the pump brakes were of, was very old, 44 years
It's happening because they are NOT genuine old hubcaps but new poor quality ones made in Brazil ..... You have bog standard late wheels with the small 5 112 pattern ? Stainless ones rust and don't fit either ...you need old genuine hubcaps
Its because you have bought the wrong ones it seems the link says this ..... For Vehicles T2 Baywindow 1972-
Have your wheels got "lumps" pressed into them to hold the hubcaps on, Fernando? If yes, and they're falling off, it's poor quality hub caps as @lhu1281 says.
wheels are original, for the last year when was ckeaning had 4/1971 It is material which has more metallizing???? And caps are replicas. But already i bought twice.
