wheel bearing noisy - could it just need greasing

  1. If the wheel bearing is howling a bit, could it just need greasing or adjusting, or will it need replacing?

Which side of the bus is a left handed thread - assume it is the nearside so the wheel is trying to do up the nut when you are driving forward.

    Replace a noisey bearing(s)

  3. Howling = impending doom...

A bus can (amazingly) stand on three wheels, but only when stationary ;)

  4. Sure its the bearing ,mate?

  5. Yep n/s front is left hand thread. Don't waste time greasing it if it's noisey, it's a half hour job and a cheap part for peace of mind.

  6. Sure it's not a loose speedo cable? Check the bung in the back.
