What's missing

  1. May be worth biting the bullet and buying the repro stuff. Normally needs some fettling, but the (few) bits I've used haven't been too bad. Just enough to get the engine built up?

The large rear tinware piece is the elusive one...

  5. I bought one of those.

Would you like me to review it?

Ok. It's absolute Marmite. If your buying it and expecting to fit it straight to your engine, you can't. Because a major portion of it is missing. After spending £150 on it, you're expected to already possess the missing bit and attach it somehow to the bit you've bought. Maybe with duck tape. Or some woodscrews.
When you point out to Dave that it's useless, hell pretend he doesn't know what you're talking about.
After he says that he'll refund your money, you'll send the piece of useless crap back to him and then he won't refund your money. He'll ignore you. When you get fed up waiting and get PayPal to sort it out , he'll ignore PayPal too for as long as he can.
Dave's a complete knob. Don't be like Dave. Spend your money with someone who knows their arse from their elbow.

  6. Well I don't think I will be buying that then it's good to have someone who has tried it first unfortunately it had to be you :( thanks for the info.

  7. To be honest I would rather have original parts and I've sorted the one that's nearest the engine hatch never know if that's front or back but the one I need now is harder to find so it seams the one over the gearbox.
