I'm putting a toolkit together that I can keep in the van. I want it to be as small and light as possible but cover as many repair option as possible. What are your most useful tools? Ill start with: 1 Long nose pliers 2 side cutter 3 cable ties 4 adjustable spanner 5 13mm spanner
"Plus -gas", fuses, relays, one ltr oil, torch and batts.3mtr of cable/wire with crocodile clips on ends of,set of bulbs and screwdrivers,multi-meter,bottle jackand tyre pump, tools to remove wheel, selection of hand tools ,>>sleeping bag>coffee milk and >hope.(don"t get me started on my spares kit !)
Not tools i know, but in my tool box i bought a cheap ignition/engine service kit as in cap, rotor, points, condenser, plugs, leads, belt etc. Not that everyone is capable to just fit these parts on the side of the road, but they are things that wont be in the recovery van should we have to call one and you can then supply your own part should it be needed
AA card, leatherman, cable ties, gaffer tape, spanners, spare flip flops, red warning triangle, toilet paper.
