I only really go on two to chat and get tips. Volkszone and here. I've got a van and a beetle but I find the beetle ones different! I don't quite know how to explain it but on here the people seem more relaxed n down to earth. Just thought I see where everyone else like to go and why. Nosey Illegitimate child!
there's no doubt i spend the most time on here although it's not as good as it used to be, i am on about 5 forums depending on which hobby i'm posting about although this is the only one that you can chat about anything on.
Haven't been on here for too long rickyrooo. How has it changed. Seems alright from a newbie point of view.
it's not changed in a bad way don't get me wrong, just a lot of people i used to have a laugh with have moved on or don't post much - oh my god - it's me nah i guess it's because it's grown and there's a load of new people - while not a bad thing i liked it more when it was smaller - i'm digging a hole here...... but i know what i mean, no offence to newbies.
I only go on 2 regularly - tlb and SELOC, a Lotus forum. It's quite like tlb in spirit, but you need to not mind swearing and not be easily upset! tlb has a lot more moderation. (no it hasn't )
tlb used to have a lot more moderation! some of us old guard fought like hell to get this far and you still can't say Marmite.
seems pretty tame on here compared to vzi... i use the uk camp forum, an american car forum jims beer kit the homebrew forum, prototype bay ssvc samba diy not ebay .....lol
I like it here...it has changed since I started earlier in the year...seems to be a little less banter and jokes these days but I still like it I've nipped onto Vzi and earlybay but I don't get much of a reply tbh...whereas here people give you the time of day and will answer even if its something stupid also all the people I've met so far off here have been really lovely xxx
I use the Ssvc T5 forum Lake Malawi forum Keep coming back to here cos it's a more chilled out place. Others have their heads so far up their jacksies it's unbelieveable. I can get better answers on here relating to my other vehicles than on the appropriate site, well sometimes.
