What to buy a 10yr old boy for Christmas

Hi looking for ideas please.
My eldest son is 10 and growing up quick.
He loves Lego and has lots, he also has an iPod and camera.
Never had to buy for a ten yr old before, any ideas?

 

how weard i thought i read want to buy a 10yr old for christmas ;D. Yeh buy him an aircooled engine , get him trained up, he might save you a fortune in a few years ,and make one too like paul weeding

Rc car, not a soppy toy one but one from a proper model shop, like a fast offroad truck or buggy, they where the best ever ;D

 

Model zone do lots of tamiya and kyosho ones, you should have one near you, they do cars, trucks, buggies, petrol or battery you can get them ready made but yeah like owen says building them is great he would learn a bit from building it as well ;D

I have 2 boys an 11yro and a 9yro on this years list we have:

• COD the game not the battered compliment to chips, I think it is Black Ops II
• Halo 4
• Replica Man Utd kit
• Hunger Games booksDrum kit (never going to happen as neither have any rhythm just like their mother)PS3 Book of SpellsLego Lord of the Rings

This is all I can remember so I will have to add to the list when I get home.

BTW just because it is on the list doesn't mean they are going to get it!

For a ten year old id say his first pocket knife maybe a swiss army knife

Only to be taken out of the house and used with dads supervision

A young lads first knife bought for him by his dad is like a right of passage and a great way to spend quality time teaching safe use and sharpening and the responsability that comes with owning and using an edged tool

 

LOL Para, I'm nearly 50 and have got (another) pocket knife on my Christmas list!

 

Buy him a large motorcycle...

Thanks for all the ideas, not sure he is ready for a knife yet though.
He has my old iPhone 3GS, so covered for music and apps/games, has Access to a ps3 (mine) and Lego everywhere.
He has a asked for a new Nerf gun too.
