I have a switch on the dash which looks like a light. Heritage sells it and says its for the interior light? I'm confused as my interior light has its own switch. I've obviously turned it on and off but noting seems to happen :-( Any ideas what it does?
I had one and when I looked it up it said it was for the rear interior light. However I dont have any rear interior lights anymore.
Is it near the steering coluum? If so , i do as well!! It dont work n never got round to it, i think its a light switch tbh
It is for the rear interior lights. It won't do anything unless the rear light is switched on, except stop you switching the rear light on. Good for taxi drivers. Also good for stopping the kids switching it on while driving.
I have one in my van-you pull it out and then you can operate the rear light next to the sliding door. So nothing will actually happen when you pull it out-unless you try the light switch at the back afterwards! HTH
I have a crew cab with the same switch (i.e no sliding door and no rear light), think it was just there to fill a hole. But not all is lost as its now the on/off switch for my stereo
haha! thats what I used mine for as well foward planning for double cab owners. also nice to watch mates trying to get the radio going
I spent a week trying to work that one out and gave up then someone on VZi told me a few days later in Frankie and Bennie's.
And in a Devon they put a sticker on the switch with a picture of a tap on it and use it to turn on the sink water pump power to the push button by the sink.
