What sort of camping do you do?

Comfort for us - at least if we are doing more than one night. Takes about an hour max to set up awning and table,chairs etc.
I get a bit fed up with the spare wheel stashing too - especially if I forget to take it out of the well until we are going to bed at 2 am
Van stays packed with most stuff so we take about 10 minutes to load up and away

 

just to add my dads just bourght his second awning and its still a pain to set up
there no fun! so we dont bother i crack a can open and watch him struggle with the guy ropes >
apparently its always the wrong kind of ground the pegs just wont go in lol!

has anyone got a fiamma roll out awning on there t2 was woundering if the t25 one will fit
think that would be the answer

Mine refuses to budge. Tried to hit it with a branch and still looks at me dumbly. Swearing brings no response. I might confuse it and start looking at it dumbly and then mention in passing how the price of metal is rising.

 

Only, and exclusively wild camping, I will not pay for a campsite, that defeats the purpose of traveling by bus/camper. if i pay for a campsite, i can pay for a motel.

carry only essentials, no kids and no pets either. If it's something i have to additionally put in the bus that's not there already when i go, and it is not clothes or food, i'm not taking it.

if a friend goes with me in another bus, I make sure he has a spare wheel, so i don't have to carry one.

 

WE have the vans kitted out so we can just pull over anywhere and not have to move stuff to get to anything. Everything has its place and that includes me behind the steering wheel.

 

over-nighters for me - normally behind a pub. no in built luxuries - just my rock n roll bed, a gas ring and a cool box

 

I have to ask. Those of you that wild camp, where do you go to the loo. no 1's & 2's :-[
