What size tyres for standard rims on lowered bus?

Ok, I'm just about to powder coat a set of original 14" rims for my T2 camper. It's lowered a couple of splines and currently running on 15" alloys.

My question is, what size tyres do you lot think would look good on the original rims? I don't want the standard fat 195-80-14s... If you are running standard rims with a lowered bus, what you got?? (And let's not get into the heavy duty tyre bit either... I know that)..

The answer to the OP is that if the 15" tyres you have cause no problems with rubbage, get the equivalent diameter 14" tyres.

 

There's a thread on prototype bay about different tyres , lowered wheels etc, may be worth having a look
